Introduction

It is important to identify and quantify all the critical needs of the End-Users /Service Recipients so that a comprehensive, effective Department can be created. These needs will be compiled and published as "Stakeholder Requirements."

The Department of Peace will have a broad range of "End-Users / Service Recipients" - i.e. people who will use the services and resources provided by the DoPN. For example:

  1. The President will seek advice from the Secretary of the DoPN at Cabinet meetings concerning effective alternative (non-violent) options to issues facing the Nation.
  2. Using the Federal Interagency Committee on Peace and Nonviolence created by this legislation, the DoPN will advise Partner Departments.
  3. Using the Intergovernemntal Advisory Council on Peace and Nonviolence created by this legislation, the DoPN will advise Partner State-Local Agencies.
  4. The Secretary of the DoPN will have also identify key issues for the nation and request specific research, analysis, and development of new intervention programs from the Department.
  5. The Regional DoPN offices will serve Neighborhoods, Organizations, Families, and Individuals on matters involving domestic violence (group/collective, interpersonal, and self-directed violence)

This page is intended to be used to capture the needs of people who will benefit directly by the services and resources of the Department of Peace and Nonviolence.
